Our 2013 Schedule of Events!

That's the end of St. Patrick's Season for the year. As usual I can't remember what year it is or was. Plain fact is it doesn't matter. I'm sure you all remember what year it is and as long as you do I'll try and remember to up date the site as often as I can. But as I age I find that like my knees the memory is going too. Good thing I don't try to dance. We have changes in time and place and new dates showing up all the time. So check the schedule now and then.



Remember we can usually be found at Coleman's Authentic Irish Pub on the last Sunday of the month and that will be true again in the coming year. Sunday is Irish Music Day at Coleman's. We hope to see you there.

I know you have read this paragraph before....There are times when we are playing that each of us, Billy, Jimmy and I, swear we can see old friends who have left us at the back of the crowd, near the end of the bar, or out of the corners of our eyes. Friends that we came to know and now we miss deeply. I expect that Don Austin, Roy Cruze, Eddie Higgins, Joe Dwyer, Roy Tank, Tim Leogue, and the rest will make any new comers welcome at their table. And if you knew someone who has gone on, lift a toast and a memory to them all, and give them a nod and a smile when you see them out of the corners of your eyes.... My first job with the band was at Jack McGroarty's and the first of the soon to be new friends to say hello to me was Eddie Higgins. He asked for Fiddler's Green and when we were done he come and said "Fine job Don, you'll fit right in." I'm still the "new boy" after 25 years. We did Fiddler's Green last Sunday and sure enough there was Eddie just going around the corner of the bar.
